How Many Community Service Hours For High School

Volunteer All students are required to do 40 hours of community service over the class of their high school career in order to graduate. If a student has transferred from another school district, then they must complete 10 hours of community service for every year they take been in the Fremont Unified School District. 2020-2021 Update:

Hours from the 2019-2020 and the 2020-2021 school years will be collected at the starting time of the 2021-2022 schoolhouse year. Please keep forms in a safe place and call up to make a re-create of completed forms for your records.

Updated Hours Requirements:

Due to the commune suspending Community Service for the 2020-2021 school year adjustments have been fabricated to the graduation requirements for all four classes.

SENIORS (Grade of 2022): New graduation requirement is twenty hours.

JUNIORS (Course of 2023): New graduation requirement is 20 hours.

SOPHOMORES (Class of 2024): New graduation requirement is 30 hours.

FRESHMEN (Grade of 2025): Graduation requirement is 40 hours.

Quick tips for service:

Must provide service through a non-turn a profit 501(c) organization

Date #one, Friday, Oct 8, 2021 by 4pm- All hours completed during the 2019-2020 school yr, 2020-2021 school year, and over the summer (June through August 2021) for SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, and SENIORS are due.

Engagement #2 (SENIORS Just) Friday, May 6, 2022 by 4pm - All hours are due for SENIORS.

Date #three, Friday, June 3, 2022 by 1pm - All hours completed during the 2021-2022 school year are due for FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES, and JUNIORS.
