After weeks of speculation and later confirmation by Sony, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally returned to the Play Station Store. The mega championship is now available for PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 5, and the standard PlayStation 4. However, despite the re-release, CD Projekt Blood-red has pointed out that the game is non fit for the base PlayStation 4, and players should avoid purchasing it for the aforementioned.
Due to performance problems, Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from the PlayStation Store in December of 2022. The game essentially went into hiatus, and autonomously from patch ane.ii in April, no new information was revealed by Sony regarding the game's return. However, terminal calendar week saw the removal of the official CyberPunk 2077 refund folio on the PlayStation Shop, which fueled the speculations of the game's return, which was afterwards officially confirmed by Sony and CD Projekt Red.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now bachelor for purchase on PlayStation Store for the first time in more than six months, just with a alarm that "buy for use on PS4 systems is not recommended." A clear indication from CD Projekt Ruby-red that performance issues might persist on the standard PlayStation 4.
CD Projekt Ruddy has also promised a free next-gen upgrade for all PlayStation four owners, which should improve the gameplay significantly. Although the official release date for the update has not been confirmed yet, information technology is expected to get live in the second one-half of 2022.
